Hey all,

I've been messing around and doing some minor streaming and I've run into a fairly annoying problem. I'm not sure where it's originating from. I'll out line whats going on.

1. Start up OBS with admin rights.
2. Launch Game
3. Start Stream
4. Stream has VERY low desktop Audio.
5. Go into Audio settings see that everything is still as was before.
6. Change settings to USB headset (Apply)
7. Audio hasn't changed
8. Change Audio settings back to default doesn't change.
9. Close OBS
10. Restart OBS sounds back to normal in stream.
11. Game crashes or Tab out.
12. Stream Audio becomes bad again.

So my mic always seems to work, but is not as good when you can hear the game audio correctly. When the game audio is bad the mic seems to sound better.

I have the USB Cloud II headset. I've used default sound option and the usb cloud II as the audio settings and results in the problem same each time.

Here are two examples

1.
Poor Audio - Mic sounds fine, but the game audio is VERY faint.

2.
Normal Audio - Even though the MY mic sounds a bit faint in comparison to the "poor" stream. Seems like there is something I'm missing.

I can't quite pinpoint the problem. Is this a USB audio issue? This happens with every game I'm playing.

Thanks for your ideas and help.
