Hello,
I was wondering if I could have some help with my audio lag in my stream. My general setup is the following:
Astro A40 + mixamp Pro 2013 edition
Hauppauge HD PVR 2 Gaming edition
Logitech C920 Webcam
OBS 32 bit
----------
I have my A40s wired from my PS4 to my PC (Optical Audio cable from PS4 to mixamp/mixamp with the splitter cables plugged into PC). All that works fine as I can chat with my viewers and hear the PS4 gameplay and game/party chat. My issue is I believe with my webcam. The audio is somehow synced to my webcam even though I have my webcam muted, so whatever is happening on my stream, my viewers know about 5 seconds in advance because of my webcam audio/visuals. Take for instance, I hit a walk off homerun in MLB 14 The Show and I was celebrating. I physically saw myself and heard myself celebrating on stream about 5-6 seconds before it actually happened. I don't use a splitter box because Sony lifted the HDCP ban on the HDMI cables. I don't know if that has something to do with it, but all of this is just really annoying as I enjoy being able to retain my viewers using my OBS layout. Whenever you stream from the built in PS4 service, any time you switch games it stops your stream causing you to lose all your viewers. Any help, comments, suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
