We've been adjusting the milliseconds delay for audio inputs to sync with a video camera coming through a high latency (super-cheap-A$22) USB HDMI video input converter. No matter how much we adjust the delay it doesn't seem to make any difference to the audio signal, it's always approx 0.5 seconds ahead of the video coming from the DSLR. Plugging the microphone into the camera isn't an option in this instance.
Any hints as to what is going wrong, any gotchas? I'm so new to OBS I don't even have it installed, trying to help a friend. (I've used mimoLive a fair bit, so very familiar with the need for audio delays to sync sound sources).
We're using a virtual webcam from OBS into Zoom.
