For the last week or so, I've been trying to solve this issue. I've tried all sorts of things and have asked a bunch of people. Nobody has seen this issue before and nobody seems to be able to give me any advice on how to fix it.

Basically, when streaming, at random time intervals, the audio will cut out for a few seconds before returning stretched out - it sounds lower and slower, like listening to an audio clip at a slower rate (0.5x, as an example).

I had this issue happen in a few of my previous streams, and, as such, have deleted all of the previous streams as I wasn't sure which ones had the issue in and didn't have hours to go through them all and ensure that the issue hadn't occurred. However, it now appear that, once it happens, it ruins the audio for the rest of the stream.

It happens shortly after 21:40. It doesn't fix its self at any point. Yesterday, I recorded with OBS for 2:40:00. This issue didn't occur at all, implying to me that the issue is specifically related to streaming, and not just the program in general. I've also never had this issue with any other recording program and, as such, do not believe that it's an issue with any of my hardware or settings. I even reset my computer entirely when upgrading to Windows 10 two days ago and the only settings I have changed in OBS are 'optimizing' for Twitch and choosing my resolution. Since I had it pointed out to me by one of my viewers a few streams back, roughly a week or so ago, it has happened every single time I used OBS, besides the time I recorded and didn't stream at the same time. When streaming, I record the file to my computer, however, and the issue does occur with the files outputted from a stream by OBS. If I listen back to my mic through any other means while still streaming while this issue is occuring, it's fine through any other medium (audacity, dxtory etc all have no problems - it's only OBS).

My audio is at 48khz in my setting and the same in OBS.

So, does anybody have any idea what is causing this, and what I can do to fix this? Again, I've never seen this happen before and literally nothing I do appears to help.

EDIT: Forgot to post specs.

My CPU is an AMD FX 8350, OC'd to 4.8GHz stable, GPU is an AMD Radeon HD 7870 (just bought a 390, waiting for it to arrive) and my motherboard is an Asus Sabertooth 990FX. Internet connection is 76mb/s down and 20mb/s up. All this in mind, I don't think that my specs are the limiting factor.
