I have a new installation and am trying to setup to stream to FaceBook.
I have the following equipment:
HP Omen desktop computer
HD60S Game Capture
HDMI camera (without audio)
Analog line level audio to the HD60S
New installation of OBS software
OBS is setup with the wizard
Streaming to a Facebook Account
Got the video setup
The audio was a problem as I couldn't get any audio but found out that I had to turn on the speaker on the Omen and it would not turn on until I inserted a speaker/headphone into the jack. Could then enable the computer's speaker and audio then goes into OBS. Under sources I have Video Capture Device and have the audio selected into 2/Analog audio on configure video. I now get audio registering on the audio meter display.
When I stream to facebook the audio cuts in and out several times a second. Kind of like there is a conflict between two different sample rates with a beat frequency effect. I have changed sample rates within OBS and it still does the same thing. A sample of the video is available at: https://www.facebook.com/101042598218688/videos/2291538441152192/
The sound from the source does not have the issues, but when I begin a stream and listen to the facebook monitor it does the same before it's published. I have also recorded the same video and the recording does the same thing!
Any suggestions to help me find the source of the audio problem?
