Audio Crackling With Monitored Audio

I have an issue where any audio that is monitored in OBS (media sources and an alert box) has slight random crackling in it. I have done test recordings and discovered that this audio issue is only in the monitored audio. The audio is fine when played through different media players, so the problem doesn't seem to be the files themselves. If I turn off monitoring, the audio recorded/streamed does not have the issue. This could fix the problem, but without monitoring I can't hear the audio while recording/streaming. I have tried multiple audio settings and can't seem to fix it. I also did a fresh install of OBS on a different PC (laptop) and it also had the same audio monitoring crackle. Any help with this would be appreciated.

The attached log is from a scene collection that just has one media source in an attempt to isolate the issue.

An update to this problem. I had a friend with a completely different PC setup download and install OBS and test monitored audio. He had the exact same problem with both a few of my files and some of his. So right now the only commonality I can find with this problem is OBS itself and Windows 10.
