Audio crackling randomly.

I've been getting sound problems where my (non mic) stream audio will crackle, but only on stream and on the recording; I don't hear it myself.
It happens at random and typically the only way to solve the issue is to unplug my sound card (arturia minifuse 2) and plug it back in. Today the problem happened and corrected itself.

It happens at 04:31:32 and corrects itself at 04:31:59 on the stream of august 21st, log provided. I checked for sample rate mismatches and barring settings resetting themselves it shouldn't be that.

You're using the win-capture-audio plugin which has many issues relating to this and will not be fixed/updated as the plugin developer does not maintain it. That being said, there are still crackling issues with the built in source but this is a result of a bug from Microsoft and not OBS as the same can be heard in other software that captures audio the same way like Discord screen sharing. For most (including myself) this was fixed by Microsoft with the latest Windows 11 update (24H2) but you'd need to update to Windows 11 as this fix will not be coming to Windows 10.

Thanks ! Is there another method of capturing audio sources separately ?

There's other software you can use to split audio at the system-level like steelseries.gg or voicemeeter, then you would be able to capture it separately in OBS but it replaces how you manage your system audio outside of OBS. I personally recommend just updating to Windows 11 because 10 goes EOL this year anyways, already starting to see situations where things are fixed/improved on Windows 11 but won't ever be fixed on Windows 10 like this issue you are posting about.
