Every once in a while, my audio starts crackling and stuttering for my viewers, which can last from seconds to a few minutes. The problem is that I can't hear it at all, my viewers need to inform me when it starts.
At first I thought it was my old 1st gen. Focusrite Scarlett. I got a new audio interface (Arturia Minifuse 4, latest firmware), but the audio issues were still there. I've began to suspect that Application Audio Capture might be the culprit. I use it in some scenes, specifically to capture Winamp, ScummVM and Dosbox. I haven't experienced any audio issues with scenes that don't have Application Audio Capture sources, and use something like Desktop Audio or the Loopback feature of my audio interface instead.
Application Audio Capture is important to me because I need the control over specific sound sources separately. Everything from Windows to OBS is up to date.
