Question / Help Audio Controlled Switching

Is there functionality or a plugin to allow for audio input controlled switching? For the life of me this is so rare on any streaming software for some reason. I have 2 HD webcams and 2 mics and optional mixer board. I want to be able to have the video capture switch whenever a mic input reaches a certain threshold so that the system is automated once I begin streaming. Thanks in advance!

I'd love something like this as well. Something like what this Polycom meeting camera calls 'active speaker tracking'.

Obviously that's a hardware solution for meeting rooms but it's the right idea. I'd think you could do this in sw pretty easily but yeah I haven't found it.
