Question / Help Audio Configuration, need help, please

So, I pretty much have my video set up and everything, but I have an idea I want to do with the sound. Audio works fine, but what I want is; to stream audio (in this case music from Steam's Music player) and nothing else, but I don't want to have to set everything else to mute or anything. I still want to be able to have skype calls, while I'm streaming, but not have my viewers listen in on any part of the conversations we have. Is there anyway, to do that?

VAC, set it up as a mic then play your music through VAC

That doesn't really explain a whole lot. What's VAC? And how do I use it?
