Question / Help Audio Capture From a Set Program

Hello,

I have OBS capturing desktop audio from LINE IN (from another computer).
I have OBS capturing microphone audio from a USB Microphone.

I want OBS to capture audio from a program that's also being run on the same computer, but continue to capture from LINE IN. I only want to capture audio from it, not video. Can this be done?

Go to the Windows audio control panel > Recording tab > Line In properties window > Listen tab. Check "Listen to this device" and select your normal playback device as the target.

Now go to OBS Settings > Audio and select that same playback device as your desktop audio device. It should now record normal desktop audio + your Line In source + your microphone.

Thanks, I'll give that a shot. Has there ever been talk of adding Audio Capture sources from different applications? I realize you may not be able to answer that. :)

My understanding is that it's more an issue with how the Windows audio subsystem works than anything else, but there are at least some enhancements to audio support coming in the rewrite.
