Question / Help Audio Can't Record, Please Help

When I started using OBS to record stuff, everything went smoothly, the audio and the footage. But now my audio can't seem to record and its driving me nuts, can someone help?

Also, that bar indicating the "Desktop Audio", everytime something's making sound, the bar won't go up, is there something wrong with my PC?

Did you make sure you selected the correct device? in obs as well as in your Windows Audio Device Manager

This also happened to me but my mic will not show up at all in settings.
