First off I've been using OBS for years now both for streaming and recording videos. I have a decent knowledge on how to setup OBS properly and so here is my problem. Any audio input I place on "Desktop Audio Device 1" ends up chopped up.

I have attached my logfile and a link to the sample of what it actually sounds like. I have the same settings and device input both for my Desktop Audio Device 1 and Desktop Audio Device 2

1-10 seconds - Desktop Audio Device 1
11-20 seconds - Desktop Audio Device 2

There is a clear difference between both.

Things I've tried:
Reinstalling - Clearing all settings including user settings
Used direct input (not using my VAC)
Tried different audio devices

Sounds like a sample rate issue.

Check the sample rate of the devices(Both playback and recording in the case of VACs) in windows sound properties/advanced and ensure they match your OBS sample rate of

22:07:35.230: samples per sec: 48000hz
