Question / Help Audio Boosting itself (?)

Hello I've noticed that audio is insanely loud when I record and it keeps boosting itself from lowest point to extremely loud in matter of seconds, I am literally cornered and do not know what to do.
I can upload a sample on Youtube if someone is willing to help.
So I tried it all and it seems there is no solution to it...
It starts normally at volume I put it at and within 5 seconds boom it's maxed out and extremely loud.

Does this boosted audio happen to be your microphone? If so, it may be another program auto-adjusting the level (such as discord). Check your windows audio levels while this is happening (settings -> system -> sounds -> sound control panel).

If that's the case, then the best way to avoid that is to make sure auto level adjustment is disabled in discord, then set your microphone device manually in both discord and OBS, and set your default microphone within windows to something else.

If that's not the case, please upload a log file, as well as possibly getting a sample upload.

Hey, thank you for your response, I just uploaded the video on Youtube and apparently it's not boosted at all... But local file however boosts itself, it only goes for me to assume that problem lies within PotPlayer I use, or Windows... Which actually means OBS comes in clean, thank you for your help and I apologize for disturbance.
And audio would boost for both speakers and microphone accordingly, both would progressively get louder from very quiet, thank you for your help anyway!
