Question / Help Audio and Video recording Out of Sync

Hi everybody,

I am trying to record some let's play videos and I don't have a clue what settings I should use.

I recorded a video for Rise of the Tomb Raider (720p) and no problems whatsoever.

After that I used the exact same settings on Hitman 2016 and all of the sudden the video is out of sync. the longer the video the more out of sync it goes. The Audio seems fine though also the video doesn't end where I stopped. It ends before that (guessing that is because of the video being out of sync).

The settings I have I got from watching Youtube videos as I have no idea what settings to choose...no clue at all.

If someone could PLEASE help me as I would LOVE to get my youtube channel populated.

Some system specs:

i5-3750K 3.40GHz
8Gb DDR3 RAM
Radeon R9 390 8Gb

I wish I had a solution for you, but I've also suffered from the same problem. And I can't find any answers anywhere look. If anyone knows why this happens and/or has a fix for it, I'd definitely love to hear it.

How are you checking that the audio is desyncing over time?

Well I record a bit of gameplay and then I watch the video. At the start of the video the audio is fine and as the video progresses the video and audio get more and more out of sync

Using what programs?

Older versions of premiere are known to have this problem when the file itself doesn't.

I'm using Movie Studio 13 Platinum to edit. But this problem occurs even before using editing. Like right after recording I check out the video to make sure that everything recorded fine.

I've tested (viewed) the video in VLC player and Media player classic.

and do you get the gradual desync in VLC?

Yes the video has desync in all media players.

I am losing my mind over this problem. I have no idea what to do.
