Hi,

As usual, sorry for my bad english, i'm French.

So, here is the problem. I think OBS is not able to record audio in "true" 48 khz. Or, to be more specify, i suspect OBS to just generate a upsampling audio file in 48khz, but in reality it's not able to accept an audio input superior of 44.1.

Why ?

My ADC is a Lavry ADC 11, if i set it on 48khz or a superior setting, OBS create a blank audio file. Besides the Stereo LED level display are not mooving. It's not working. If i set up my lavry on 44.1n OBS is able to create a 44.1 or 48khz audio file. So 48khz is just upsampling.

Another problem (bug):
Imagine you're running under a 44.1 profil, and you change it for a 48khz profil you've saved before. You will not be prompted that you MUST restart OBS to make the 48Kkz effective. So, you'll have a 44.1 audio file.

Yes, OBS will resample if the device format does not match the sample rate selected in OBS. Your device not generating output in 48 KHz sounds more like an issue with the device / driver than a problem with OBS.
