atkAudio Plugin

atkAudio Plugin 0.34.8

FYI this update has broken DeviceIO for me, it doesn't bring any audio in from input when an ASIO device is selected. Rolled back to 33.1 and it works fine.
not sure if this is related, but follow scene toggle wasnt previously functioning properly

Hi,
I have OBS 32.2.2 and atkAudio 0.34.6 but also noticed this in 0.34.5 and earlier versions I believe.

If I hide a PluginHost2 then unhide it the audio becomes delayed.

The minimal setup to recreate this is

I created a mixer with a PluginHost 2 filter. This filter has a DeviceIO2 that has a Logitech USB Camera as input and device IO2 is routed to Audio Out so I can see the volume in the Audio Mixer.
I duplicate this Mixer and I see the audio levels are synchronised.
If I hide one of the Mixer sources, wait and then unhide it the volume levels and sound stays synced.
However, if I hide, wait and then unhide one of the PluginHost 2 filters then the audio is out of sync and stays out of sync.

Also thank you for your work over the last handfull of revisions. They have really improved the experience with plugin.

regards,

David

are you certain it stays out of sync, and doesnt improve over longer period of time (maybe a few minutes)?

Hi, It would be in the minutes if it does come back in sync, I will try it BUT it is so bad that anyone listening is not going wait around to see in real life.

Hi,

I have atkAudio 0.35.0 and OBS 32.2.2.

I've been mapping a nanoKONTROL2 in atkAudio MIDI Control. I'm trying to select a macro Target for a hotkey action but the width of the display leaves me unable to know which macro I'm selecting.

Hi,

Music played by a VLC Video source stutters when routed through DeviceIo2 but the same music played through a Media source is perfect.

I have atkAudio 0.35.0 and OBS 32.2.2. but the issue has been present for the last 2 atkAudio releases. I just didn't have time to get a short use case going.

I have a VLC Video source with playing some flute music. I am using an atkAudio DeviceIo2 to send the audio to my speakers through Windows Audio (Exclusive mode) and the result is stop start sound. If I do the same with a Media source instead the sound is perfect.

regards,

David

Will fix this. As a immediate workaround, you can save the mappings as a file, and just open it in a regular plain text editor and inspect/edit what the targets are.
