Hello

im new to the forum but from all the Googlework i cant find an answer. Im about to buy a new Monitor. The one i was thinking off is the 144hz AOC G2460PF. The Problem is:

I have a second Computer and i capture via HDMI to stream on Twitch with 60FPS. Will Freesync work with the Passthrough and an HDMI to Displayport Connector? Because thats what i need due to the Capturecard has only HDMI in and output. Will the Passthrough work with 144 hz or just with 60?

I hope you all can help me.

Thanks much

Depends on your capture card.
No cap cards I'm aware of currently support Freesync or GSync. Most top out at a 60hz signal supported, even for passthrough.
You may have to mirror/clone your main monitor to one of the other outputs at a 60hz vsync rate if your GPU allows you to set separate rates for mirrored outputs. Not all do, and it can be a real hassle to make it happen (and retain the settings through resolution changes).

Might try emailing AMD support and asking if there's a way to split-mirror like that, if the option isn't there in the Radeon control panel.

Well thanks. That can help. Its not optimal because then i would have 2 displays running the game all time and i cant multitask on my second display while playing a game. So one monito and one pc is just there for the whole streamingjob.
