Ok,
I'm a noob at this. I just bought a laptop for the first time ever, I haven't had a relevant gaming computer since World of Warcraft launched. I do not know software or programming either. Here is the deal. I am trying to use OBS to stream games like SpeedRunners, Arma 3, Divinity Original Souls, Payday 2, etc. First time I attempted, Arma 3 streamed perfectly. I tried to switch to Speed Runners, but it went black screen. I have then went back to Arma and all it is showing is black screen. I have an NVidia Geforce GTX870M card, Intel i7 (4th Gen), 1TB 7200, 256 SSD Hard Drive, 16GB Ram. I just want to stream some games. I tried switching over to Xsplit, but you have to have a capture card which I do not have nor do I really want to buy. Can someone help me figure out how to stream a few games and have some fun with friends? PS, I followed these instructions to use the OBS software and it worked perfect the first time but not since.....
