Wondering if people are still having issues with the choppy preview and also running diff HZ monitors. Especially for dual pc streaming when gaming on 144hz and having a 60hz cap card. Has this problem ever been resolved?

Right, but in the past 144 and 60hz cap card would work by doing a full screen preview. Last time i tried that it didnt work too good anymore. I also dual booted windows 7 to test it on there and it still had issues.

You're saying the preview being choppy is a windows issue??

Due to how Windows aero is designed, if too many (Microsoft themselves states about 4 or more) 3D accelerated programs are using the GPU, the refresh rate of all monitors will be set to match the lowest refresh rate monitor connected. Microsoft is however working on a fix for it, but they have been since 2015.

EDIT: adding a second GPU to the system does not fix the issue.

Correct, but in windows 7 you are able to turn aero off. Im not sure what you are referring to the preview being choppy or the refresh rates? As long as whatever game you play is in Fullscreen it will run at the correct HZ even if you have obs opened on a second monitor thats 60hz.

What im wondering is if there is any work around when using a 60hz capture card, from what i remember even when lowering my main monitors refresh rate to 60hz i would still get a choppy preview.

Because they won't have the same hz if they are not the same model, one will do 59,983 and one 59,967. Both are displayed as 60 hz in windows but they are not.
You could try to bring them with cru on the same hz, that could solve your problem.
