Apps not appearing in drop-down menu of window capture

I just moved to a new MacBook Pro (2021, 14 inch, M1 Pro) running Monterey (12.0.1) and now Window Capture isn't working. When I go to select a source, nothing from any of the open apps appears. When I check "Show Windows with empty names," I get a whole bunch of choices, but all are marked "null" and when I select one, all I get is a gray screen. Any suggestions how to fix this?

Doh! I hadn't given OBS permission to record the screen in my system preferences. Problem solved.
