Question / Help Apologies for the noobishness

Hi, I'm just beginning with OBS, trying to set up a Twitch stream.

I've previewed my stream with the game in windowed mode, seems fine. Now I'd like to try to add my webcam as a window in the stream, but I have no idea how to do this. I got set up using a beginner's guide I found online and the guide didn't cover this. It must be pretty obvious because I can't see a thread covering here, although I'm sure there is one.

Anyway, help would be much appreciated, thanks.

Right click on the Sources list, 'Add', then 'Video Capture Device'. As that's what a webcam is. Select yours from the list at the top. Hit OK.

After that, make sure that the webcam layer on the Sources list is above the game/window capture layer; the sources list works like a deck of cards. Stuff on top will cover things below it.

Then just hit the 'Edit Scene' button, click on the webcam in the preview window, and drag it to where you want. Grab a corner to resize it. Then hit 'Edit scene' again to lock things into place so you don't accidentally move anything.
