Anyway to reset replay buffer after savetofile?

Hello people, just wondering if there is anyway to reset the buffer after pressing the save buffer to file option so video content doesn't overlap? Maybe some simple mod can be done somewhere?

Ok, the solution I had in the end was to setup a keyboard macro to stop the buffer and start it again after saving buffer. Works decently enough and will do for now.
