Hey guys. I have 43" screen split into 6 windows. I tried dragging the red box around to focus on one specific window but it is not working. Please see attached screenshot and let me know if there might be any way to record any of the 6 windows of my choice? Thanks.

The Window Capture source attaches to a window title that you choose from a list of currently open windows. It only captures that window, even if it's behind something, but not if it's minimized.
The Desktop Capture gives you the entire screen, as if you had a physical capture device on the video cord. If you want a specific region of the screen, regardless of what's there, you can use that and crop it.

Thanks. The window capture works great but if I should want to record only a small part of the window it's not allowing me to do so but if instead I should be using Desktop [Display] Capture and I should want to record only one small portion of the screen, how can I do so [crop] only that part please? When i try dragging any of the 4 corners of the red borders this only shrinks the entire screen.
Hey so very very sorry for not having gotten to this at the time you had replied. I have searched for video on cropping instructions because while yes, holding the ALT key does allow me to drag the 'corners', it is not allowing me to border around the specific parts of the screen.
One tutorial video shows this:
I am not understanding how he gets that easy option to drag all sides? On my end, this is what my drag handle looks like and it doesn;t allow me to drag all sides, only the corners.
Let's say I wanted to record only that video in the top left red rectangle
how can I get preferably the cropping option as that guy has it or if not possible then how might I drag the 'corners' option showing on my end to border that video please?

Your source is bigger than the preview/overflows out of the preview. I don't know how to correctly handle this situation and try to avoid it, but what works for me is to change the size of the OBS window and make it either very narrow or very wide, so the overflowed regions including the source borders scroll into view. Then change/crop the borders, then change the OBS window size back to what it was.
