Hi, like the title says, is there any way to hide the dekstop while streaming? Like when i use OBS to stream wow and i want to tab out, it stays WoW and does not show what i browse on the internets.

Thanks in advance.

There is program called stream privacy you can add process'es like skype, chrome and stuff so its gonna be hidden from stream, or you should use program like dxtory as capture device and only capture game window instead of your whole desktop, so google either stream privacy or dxtory + obs :)

Dxtory does the same thing as OBS's 'Game Capture'. No reason to download and setup an extra program when OBS already does it.

Simple steps:
1. Open the game you want to stream
2. In the game's options, set the game to fullscreen (non-windowed)**
3. In OBS, right click the 'Sources' box, click 'Add Game Capture [experimental]'
4. Under 'Application', select the program you want to capture (WoW.exe or something of the sort)
5. Stream!

**It might work fine with windowed/borderless options, but I *think* you can get slightly better performance in fullscreen mode. Might be wrong about performance.

Game Capture is pretty self-explanatory-- it only captures the game, nothing else. Also, keep in mind that Game Capture is still experimental, so don't give up if you experience any bugs (post them on the forums/chat!). I haven't had a single problem with it though :D

Just a note:

If you are using 64bit WoW, you need to use 64bit OBS in order for game capture to work
