Question / Help Any way to cut a scene from another scene and put it into another scene?

Is there anyway I can cut a bit of a scene and put it into another scene? So like I still keep that bit in the original scene but then the other scene only has that cut bit.

Right-click the scene and duplicate.

But then how do I shorten that scene to the only bit I want?

You're not using the correct terms if you're talking about editing a recording to take a segment out of it.
