Question / Help Any update about the hauppauge pvr hd2 compatibility?

It's been over a year or so since I used my hauppauge device. I remember it only working with capturing the devices software screen region. By now anything has improved like adding it just as a capture device directly into obs?(or obs-mp)?

Far as I know, it works with MP. Never will with Classic aside from the usual workarounds.

Finally found the pvr again, gonna check if you're right :).. Too bad it doesn't work with the 'normal' obs since I got everything nicely set up on that one.

What are the "usual workarounds"? I want to use my PVR in the 'normal' OBS because AMD VCE CBR doesn't work properly in MP.
