Question / Help Any kind of sources controller?

I watch some streams and people have different scenes or sources up for different things such like, if the streamer is changing servers, they put up a cool overlay instead of the server selection screen. Are they actually tabbing out and changing scenes for this? Or is there some kind of controller I could create to do this. Or could I set up hot keys on the keyboard to enable/disable sources/scenes?

Scenes can have a hotkey, so yea that is one of the easiest ways.
They also might alt-tab and/or use a second monitor. Or they could use obs-remote.

I do have two monitors, but since the game has control of the mouse I still have to alt tab. I have to think hotkeys is the best way. I didn't know you could set them. I'll have to pick up one of those logitech keyboards with the G keys.

I for example just use CTRL+ALT+1,2,3,4 to switch between the scenes in order I have them in OBS
1 start, 2 game, 3 break, 4 end
But yea, you should be able to use G keys I guess.

One other thing I like to do, whenever the game allows it I run it in windowed mode, sometimes an extra tool can be used to make it borderless (looks like fullscreen then) and that way I can alt-tab pretty fast to a different window when needed. It also allows to use Window capture for games that dont work that well with Game capture (on Windows 8 you could even use monitor capture).
