Another inquiry regarding NVIDIA NVENC

Hello.

I've just provided a translation to a string which was released roughly 10 hours ago:

Use Nvidia NVENC
Settings.Advanced.UseNVENC

Does this mean there will be a way for us to utilize its functionality in OBS soon?

Someone is implementing it indeed. But NVENC is only available for certain Graphics cards (Quadro and some others), or if you have a licence key on Geforce cards. So its use will still be extremely limited.
