Question / Help Annoying Stream Stutter

When I start streaming in OBS, I just noticed that video preview stutters a lot and is far from watchable. The same is in my Twitch dashboard, as it also stutters. In the playback stats, it says the video is at a constant 60 fps with 0 dropped frames. I have no idea what could be the problem, possibly video encoding? Also the only thing that made it look smoother was if I raised the streaming fps from 60 to 120, but that had a pretty big impact on my game performance. Help pls?

Random Info:
OBS version - 64 bit
Streaming res - 1920x1080
Bitrate - 3500 kb/s

Is there a way for me to show you all my settings without copying them down manually?

Tried viewing the stream on another device than the one you are streaming from?
There are also some duplicated frames, which will make it appear that the stream is stuttering.

Do you have a VOD on twitch where this problem is apparent?

No, but could you tell me how to make a VOD on twitch? I haven't figured it out yet...

I mean a past broadcast, you have to set your channel to archive past broadcasts. You can do this in the settings of your twitch account.

Ok, I just recorded this VOD, and it appears the stuttering is only noticeable in Counter-Strike: Source (from 2:22-3:50). Although the other games looked fine, it did not look at all like I was streaming at 60fps. Is this normal, or could there be something wrong?

Seems like there are duplicated frames in the video, making it appear like lower fps. Have you tried if the same happens when you stream 1280x720?

On 1280x720 the stuttering is less, but it still doesn't look at all like 60fps. Could it be because there is no quality selector on my channel, making it lower quality all the time? Also, the strange thing is that the video preview in OBS stutters as well, could that be affecting the stream or is that normal? Thanks for all the help btw.

it looks like you have tons of different capture methods in the same scene even though the others are disabled they still may be able to cause trouble

try using a clean scene with only the game capture source

Here is a link to a VOD I just recorded, with a completely empty scene with only the csgo game capture.
Would you say that this looks normal, or could there still be something wrong?

it looks way smoother but you tried streaming csgo instead of css so there might be a problem.

also please provide a new log for the latest vod so we can see what changed
