Question / Help Annoying sound in stream when I have mic plugged

Hi,

I tried to stream today. It went great, although when I plug in my mic the viewers hear this really annoying buzz sound. How can I fix it? Is it the mic?

Are you using an USB mic or analog 3,5mm plug? If it's the analog version, it could be a grounding issue. In most cases you can test if it's a grounding issue by putting your hand on the computer cases side panel. If that makes the buzzing more silent, then that's the issue. How to solve it though is another question...
