Animations .webp are not loading

As title is saying. If you add .webp animations as image they won't load. Static .webp images work fine.
Am I missing something or are webp animations not supported?

Static images work.
Animated webp files wont.

Convert the animated webp files to webm, and add them as media sources.

Hi. based on how webp is defined by Google I would assume that you would import them as a local Browser Source and not Image Source. Atleast for animated images.
