Bug Report An unspecified error occurred while recording

Yes, folder at the root directory of the drive, like "C:\Temp" or "E:\Temp"
  1. New log-file?
  2. How often the error happens?
  3. Maybe you forgot to add OBS Studio to your security software (Antivirus) trust list?
  4. Can you run OBS Studio as admin?
  5. Try to create new Profile and new Scene Collection and try to record (just record! don't add any sources or make changes, just record the black screen). Any changes?
Edit: the error from the log was:
Code:
15:03:00.580: [ffmpeg muxer: 'adv_file_output'] os_process_pipe_write for info structure failed

Actually, that was mentioned by @R1CH, and when you create new folder you already have privileges to make changes to it (usually), and system folders (like "Program Files") or any other that were made by other application or by other user or left from other installation may has completely different access rights.

Just installed the latest version for Windows and its my first time trying to use this software but I have the same issue.

I created a new dir for output files but the error happens as soon as I click start recording.

@PCMan123 The log says that you didn't hit the Recording button, you din't try it as admin, and only encoder you can use on your PC is Software x264 and AMD encoder. Try again.
