Question / Help AMD VCE Not Listed On OBS Studio Encoders List

As the title describes, for what ever reason AMD's encoder is not listed and i cant seem to figure out why.
The only relevant post i found was this, Which isn't very helpful as the issue was caused by Windows 10 and i am running windows 7 64bit Home Premium.

More info on relevant Software/ Hardware:

OS: Windows 7
OBS Studio Version: 0.15.4
AMD Driver Version: 15.301.1901.0 (with AMD VCE installed)

AMD APU: AMD A6 3620M
->Graphics are: AMD Radeon 6520G

I have a second computer that is running AMD VCE perfectly and did not require any special changes to get running.
It is using windows 7 pro, same version of obs and amd drivers. (newer apu but i don't think that's very relevant)

You really don't want to use VCE with the Media Foundation implementation. Check out this instead:

Thanks for the quick reply, i will check it out.
Is there an noticeable difference then the media foundation implementation? If so i will use this on the other system too...

Yes. The Media Foundation implementation is, to put it delicately, complete garbage.
