Bug Report AMD Encoder not available on 0.16.1

I thought the AMD encoder is new in 0.16.1, but not available as an option. Only x264.

AMD Radeon HD 6750M
WIndows 10 1607

dodgepong replied here already with the correct link. If the encoder doesn't show up, make sure you have the correct drivers installed - Windows Update drivers do not work.

Then you need up to date drivers. Also OBS 0.15.9 doesn't even exist, I'm not sure if you're trolling or not.

no i don't troll, the version before update. Why I should troll in these forum oO amd rolled up a update a few days ago, but with the older obs version it works yesterday. Im using your software everyday, i love obs. Why i should troll XD Im using h264 not x264 i had to change it had hard graphic issues in my stream.

I don't see the AMD Radeon HD 6750M in that list. As far as I understand, the AMD Radeon HD 6xxxM series are Terascale-2. VCE is only on GCN-based AMD cards (Southern Islands or newer). That being the case, your GPU doesn't support VCE. @Xaymar can correct me if I'm wrong on this.

... I'm an idiot who can't read. Thanks for pointing out what should have been obvious. That's a sign for me to go get some caffeine and look at something else for a bit.

In any case, that would mean that ronlonse's card is not supported, which resolves the OP's concern. Sparky512TV's might be though.

The log you provided does not show you recording/streaming for 30-60 seconds. Please do that and upload a new one.

One question, if my Radeon R7 250 is VCE 1.0 approved and in the list, why I still can't press "Start Recording"? It refuses to record, even though I have a correct VCE-capable AMD GPU. Any sort of things I did wrong with the settings? Nah.
