Question / Help AMD Drivers updated OBS still wont record

So I have a AMD R9 280X and for some reason even though I have checked the drivers and it shows no updates, I set OBS to use the hardware (AMD) and it refuses to work. It says "Starting the output failed. Please check the log for details. Note: If you are using the NVENC or AMD encoders, make sure your video drivers are up to date. So if someone could help me that would be great.

I'm having the exact same problem, same card, same message, Radeon Settings say I have most up-to-date drivers. I'm not sure what's going on but it wouldn't surprise me if they stopped supporting the cards, even though my Nvidia GT630M still works.
