Question / Help AMD Compute Cores in OBS ?

Can OBS use all the "compute cores" on AMD apu's ? i was thinking that x.264 would just use the cores on the cpu side and the amd version of nvenc on other version of obs would just use the cores on the gpu side, any way to use both ?

the new version of OBS MP can use either x264 (aka cpu software-bound encoding) or VCE (GPU hardware-bound encoding).

x264 is better in quality, but VCE will take 95% of the workload from the CPU and place it on the GPU.

there currently isn't a solution that uses both simultaneously unless you are doing two recordings, one local only and one stream
