Problem:
So I've been attempting to use OBS to record my videos in 720p and around 40 - 50 frames, but I have been getting insane frame drops when recording games like Minecraft, CS:GO, and Garry's Mod. At first I tried recording at a bitrate of 10 Mbps but that made the games unplayable. I tried to lower the bitrate 1 Mbps at a time but the lag never stopped. I eventually got to 200 Kbps and it finally showed signs of stopping but the video was way too pixelated. On games like Garry's Mod and Minecraft I host a server where me and friends play and record together
My specs:
Processor: AMD A8-7600 Radeon R7 that doesn't utilize the on-board graphics as it doesn't work on most of my games
RAM: 16 GB
Graphics: AMD Radeon R9 380 w/ 4 GB of VRAM
OS: Windows 10
Upload Speed: Around 10Mbps
Ping: Around 24ms
Log File:
I cant upload a log file because I apparently have an older version of OBS. But when I download it from the download page the classic version's installer crashes and the studio version's digital signature is corrupt or invalid. If anyone can help me with this I'd appreciate it.
