amazon firestick usage for PC

youtube videos suggest using OBS studio for plugging in an amazon firestick into my PC... I do this and following the instructions to create a "video capture device" under the "sources" menu... Then it says to click the pull down menu and select "USB3.0 capture" but unfortunately there is no such option... it has "mirametrix virtual camera", "LGE camera" and "USB video".... Is there another way to get the "USB3.0 Capture" option?

Ports are not bidirectional. If you put the firestick into an HDMI output of your computer, then not only will it not work at all, but it's also possible to damage one or the other or both. Never put two outputs directly together.

Except for a very rare specialty machine (I've seen *one* so far, and most people questioned its quality), computers don't have HDMI inputs by default. You have to explicitly add one.

And that's probably as far as you're going to get help, unfortunately, because of another thing called copyright. The stuff that comes from the Firestick is probably ALL copyrighted, and getting that into a PC is a very common way to trample all over that. So they intentionally make it difficult to make that work, and we're not going to tell you how to circumvent it. Sorry.
