CPU: AMD FX8350 4Ghz

RAM: G.Skill 16GB

I have read that having Crossfire enabled messes with OBS but for the most part everything seems fine. I have tried taking my second card out completely but I am still getting the same problem.

My logs normally say I have a very low amount of duplicated frames and 0 late frames, however when I go through the video frame by frame I can count much more and I haven't even been through the whole video.

So is my OBS log lying? Am I messing up somewhere? When I watch back the VOD's, I can clearly see the stuttering and its frustrating to watch. There seems to a pattern of a duplicate frame every 3rd frame and this will occur 5 or so times then be fine for a while.

I tried local recordings too and the same thing happens.

I'm pretty confident my hardware should be up to scratch but I also know that my Mobo is not good enough for my CPU (It normally overheats and limits the CPU voltage under load) but my CPU hasn't been getting hot enough so I can hopefully rule that out.

(normally have 2000kbps)

So after more research, it appears I'm getting microstuttering? How would i go and fix this?

Uninstall or disable the overlay for ruvatuner:
Code:
WARNING: Another hook is already present while trying to hook d3d9.dll,
hook target is \Device\HarddiskVolume3\Program Files (x86)\RivaTuner
Statistics Server\RTSSHooks.dll. If you experience crashes, try disabling
the other hooking application

Here you go, I just did a local recording.

It would appear to be happening every 30 seconds or so.

I enabled CFR for you.
Uninstall rivatuner then reboot. try the same test.

That's weird, I did uninstall and rebot it before the 5 minute test. Scanning my entire pc to remove all traces of the file now.

So RivaTuner is completely gone, the folder on the specified file path doesn't even exist any more but it still comes up in my logs, even checked hidden files, nothing. Any ideas?

I have no idea what the heck is happening. turns out if I watch closely enough, its my actual games which are stuttering so it's probably not even an OBS issue.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

disable the OBS preview window. right click on the preview, click preview again, then uncheck "enable view".

The thing is, it happens when OBS isn't even running but I tried it anyway and it was the same.

I'm hoping its my Motherboard as I'm about to hopefully get it replaced anyway...

Thanks for your efforts though.
