I guess this is the section for my subject
A few years ago when I set up OBS for recording, I set up
- one generic Profile and Scene Collection for Desktop Recording of anything on the monitor, browser, writing programs, anything
- because there is a Game Capture Source, I set up individual Profiles and Scene Collections for different games, currently I have 9
Now I am wondering if the 9 game setups are pointless and I am overdoing it
Reason is I have well over 100 games in different launchers, over time that is over 100 separate Profiles and Scene Collections probably too many
1- Should I just dump all the individual Profiles and Scene Collections using only the generic Desktop Recording for everything?
2 - What is the proper way to use a Game Capture Source without making too many Profiles and Scene Collections?
