Bug Report Alt Key Simulated to be Pressed when starting stream.

Hello!

I have a really weird bug that whenever I hit "Start Streaming" Or "Start Recording" and then switch to another scene, I have an issue where it simulates that my "alt" key has been pressed down. And I am unable to use my keyboard outside of OBS. After many fiddling around and attempts of button mashing my keyboard it finally fixes it self. I have tested this a numerous amount of times and found a work around but no fix.

At first I thought it was my keyboard being stuck, but since then I've replaced my keyboard with a brand new one and I still have the issue. Or maybe it was a hotkey pressed on my mouse, but wasn't that either.

Some of the fixes are to make a new scene/text and type from there, but it seems to be a different fix each time. Pop up the menu from using alt (space doesn't work it bugs out) and try to close the window from there trying to get the simulated "alt" key unstuck. I try to "start recording" first to work the bug out before I start my stream by switching scenes and trying to replicate the issue.

It makes it so I am unable to type on any other window other than OBS whenever this bug occurs. Closing out of OBS and reopening does not make the bug reoccur, it seems that it's once per start up session on the computer. Having multiple streams in one day does not make it reoccur, just the first time I start recording/streaming.

Any insight or help into this would be greatly appreciated. This has been happening for about a week now.

Thanks.

I had it crash the other day, and crashed today, this was the file from the other day, hope this helps.

I had terrible connection issues this evening that were constant frame drops not sure if this was also related to the same issues or something completely different.

Thanks!

Can you make a new Scene Collection (menu at the top of OBS, not just a new scene) and only create two scenes, and try to replicate this issue when switching between them?

Also, how are you changing scenes? Are you using a hotkey to do it? If so, which combination are you using?

As for the crash, that's coming from your Browser Source. That crash is a crash on exit condition we haven't been able to reliably replicate and has proven very difficult to track down.

Today I actually just reinstalled OBS and saved my scenes and loaded them in. I have just done a test right now after reinstalling, and restarting my computer (it always happens the first time I start streaming after I restart my computer) and I didn't have an issue. But when I was setting up my hotkeys on my mouse today for muting/unmuting my microphone It added an additional "alt" key in there when I haven't used those as my buttons for the hot keys but promptly fixed itself.

The hotkeys that I use are for unmuting/muting microphone which are set to "Ctrl+Shift+;"
I didn't previously have any issues with this and have been trying to test this out further and wondering if it may have something to do with the mouse and OBS changing scenes when I unmute?

I have noticed this happens whenever I use a scene with a Media Source, I have an intro that plays when I switch from my still "Starting Soon" image into a new scene with a Media Source intro, and as soon as that happens is when the "alt key" is being simulated to be pressed down and goes into a weird funk.

I'll be testing it out tomorrow to see if it happens again.

Thanks again!
