hey everyone i just had a question i just built a new PC dedicated for streaming. in my gaming PC i have a better processor than the one i have in the streaming PC. and i wanted to know how i can dedicate for the encoding. for example i want to split the resources by leveraging the CPU on my gaming PC and leveraging my GPU in my streaming PC

You can't really split them that way.

If you're not using dedicated hardware encoding, then the load splits this way:

Running the game and capturing it, and rendering your frames in OBS: GPU workload
Encoding the stream: CPU load.

This means most of the GPU load will be on the gaming PC, and most of the CPU load will be on the streaming PC.

The streaming PC needs a GPU good enough for OBS to render its frames, but it can't remove the load from the gaming PC for running the game, and capturing the frame. The lowest load method of getting frames from a gaming PC to a stream PC is a hardware capture card.

Capture card, or run OBS on both machines with the NDI plugin installed and both machines on the same local network. This is more load than using a capture card.
