Hello there,

Since yesterday as I said in the title all my sound is recognized just fine but isn't recorded in the video.. I've recorded one a few days ago without any problems & I didn't touch anything but now it doesn't work anymore.. I tried reinstalling OBS & re add all my sound sources. I don't really know what to try next.

Does anyone know something I could try ?

Audio can be affected in multiple places. (see L above for one place). I would also check is obs Audio mixer. Click on the settings dial next to the audio bars to see what device is connected. It may need to connect to your default audio, but mine actually has to connect to my headset audio.

Test by recording (without going live) at each step here.

Next, under your controls (to the right of the audio mixer) open settings. Choose Audio from the menu and look at your global audio devices. This is another area that can affect your audio.

You should also check your volume mixer for Windows (right click speaker icon on bottom left of desktop and choose "Open Volume Mixer". Ensure that all sounds are on/equal. Windows does alter things as it updates. I think of it as a wrecking ball followed by a crew of lazy wall rebuilders who only patch the wall and often forget to fix the guts inside the wall - so you have to check their work each time.

Hey, thank you both for taking the time to respond.

I've checked & nothing is in Monitor only, all the sound is connected to the right device (there are recognized by OBS & I can hear it when I'm monitoring and output), It's also good with Windows.

What I did find out is only the sound I add manually doesn't record anymore.. seriously I've been using OBS for 2 years & didn't have any problems until 2 days ago.. I don't understand what happened to break the recording.
