Question / Help All Desktop Audio Streams *except* Game Audio

I've searched high and low for a problem similar to this but haven't found it...apologies if it's a repeat.

OBS is not capturing my game audio, and it seems related to the device which the game sound is (or isn't) being piped to. OBS captures literally any other audio on my machine, including Mumble, sound from my browser, or Windows itself. It captures my microphone fine as well.

In my settings I'm using my normal audio card "Speakers" device as the audio device, which is where all of my sound goes. What's weird though is when I pull up that device on Windows, the game audio never shows up on the equalizer, even though I can totally hear it. And it doesn't show up on *any* other device. But if I open my audio card driver, it does show up on the equalizer there. It's like the game is magically piping the sound to my headphones, somehow using my card, but bypassing any actual Windows device to do so, so OBS doesn't pick it up. Even Virtual Audio Cable doesn't pick it up regardless of the device I use (I've tried all available to me). So this isn't an OBS problem per say (sorry!), but I'm wondering if there are any others who've experienced this issue here.

I'm trying to stream CS:GO and there are no in-game options to choose the audio device there, so I have no insight as to what it is trying to use. Whatever it is, it's working in that i can hear it.
