Just setup my stream yesterday and everything is working as intended. I have a great quality video and my audio is crystal clear expect that my audio is behind my video by about 1.5 2 seconds and I can't seem to figure it out. Ive tried turning on all options that might fix it. Force Audio To Use Desktop Timestamps etc. but I still wind up with a 1-2 second delay on my audio. Both my Mic and Game Audio are behind. Looking for some help on sorting this out..

Here is my log:

I had this issue before, enabling "force desktop audio to use video timestamps" in the advanced tab fixed it. After an OBS restart.

EDIT: sorry you mentioned that in your post.
A more advanced user will prob need to help you, as OBS1 audio is kinda strange.
Have you tried changing scene buffering time?

This actually might be an issue with quicksync. Try x264 and see if it gives the same results.

I have tried force desktop audio to use video time stamps but it did not help the issue

I read that quicksync could be the issue so I did try to use x264 but I got no change. A user in the IRC told me to try plugging my headphones/mic in the connections direct to my motherboard rather than plugging it into the front connections. I've yet to try that. Any other suggestions?

I also recommended installing/reinstalling the latest Realtek HD Audio drivers. Try both of those steps first.

I have now tried all suggestions and I am still having a delay on my global audio. Is there anyway to force my video to be delayed so that my audio will be in sync?

It's very unusual if it happens with x264 as well. Very unusual. Are you sure it's not a specific source that's out of sync?

I am sure it is both my mic audio and game audio, the only two sources I am using at the moment.

Ok, after I installed the new drivers I forgot to try x264. After trying x264 my audio sources are now in-sync. I have not tried streaming with x264 only recording. Hopefully my machine will be able to handle the x264. I remember reading quicksync had an issue with the audio lag and from what I read it was going to be fixed in a future update. That post was a few months ago. I am assuming its still an issue or is there something I can do to try fix the issue using quicksync. I really don't know much information about quicksync vs x264 so any input you can give would be helpful. Thank you.
