Hi everybody,

Since a few day, my alert of subalert don't want to be displayed on OBS.

i think the problem is appeared since Subalert have the message at the start of the program "PE html PUBLIC".
I recieve the notifications on my screen like follow & donations but not on window capture on obs.
I tried the screen capture and I can see the notification when they appear but it's not smooth.

I'm the only one with this problem?

FYI : I'm using OBS standard not the MP with quicksync.

Here my logs : https://gist.github.com/anonymous/9f50249157dd7516c151

Use a browser source plugin.
I have the last version of CLR Browser source plugin already.
And it's not used with subalert cause subalert is a windows app so he is not used a link for show donations & follows but only a window.

And did you follow the instructions that came with it?
With what?

My Subalert working before and overnight he stop working without reason.
I see the green window on my stream(the background is green) but it seems like be frozen because nothing move in this green window. For example, if I activate mouse recording in this window, my cursor not appear too if I put it in the green window.

Ok i've found the problem...
It's the ghost screen of quicksync who do this bug on subalert.
When I desactivate the ghost screen so without quicksync on obs & windows, I can see my alert on the stream, When I activate the ghost screen with or without quicksync, I can't see the alert...
It's bad... I will try to find a solution about that :/

RedKWind (the SubAlert dev) seems to have kind of dropped off the face of the planet for a bit now. Actually a bit worried about him with that PE HTML error, means his update site isn't reachable/active. Hoping he's OK.

Normally I have to run a window capture on the SA main alert with a subregion, and then each time I run OBS go in and re-select the subregion. Just click again (no adjustment of the subregion needed) and hit OK. Been that way for a while now, not sure if it's the same with QSV active as I use x264.

I'd recommend the CLR browser plugin Harold noted, along with the TwitchAlerts website. I'm considering making the switchover myself, as I've been testing for a bit now and new-sub updates are significantly quicker after their last update. Also no more having to re-setup the source every cast. Configuration is a bit limited via the site, but plenty of options for workarounds (fullscreen image, CSS tweaking), and no more dealing with chroma issues, including fades.
