Question / Help Akamai streaming network

Hi,

I have some issue trying to stream to akamai network.

The login info looks like this:

Primary Entrypoint: rtmp://akamaientrypoint.net/EntryPoint
Stream Name: Yourstreamname

Username: user
Password: password


I tried combinations like: rtmp://user:pass@akamaientrypoint.net/EntryPoint and streaname as Key.
But not works.

Any suggestions?

Maybe rtmp://akamaientrypoint.net/Entrypoint/streamname
and password as streamkey

or

rtmp://akamaientrypoint.net/streamname
and password as streamkey

you're going to have to get with them to find out what they consider the stream key and the rtmp server path. I would post the results (not your stream key) but what they say when you get an answer to help others.

But I was using the Multiplatform one :) I can't find the profiles there ^^

Ah, FMS authentication is not supported yet in Multiplatform.

I am using OBS and I am able to playback

Please use

1) Primary Entrypoint: rtmp://akamaientrypoint.net/EntryPoint

2) Stream Name: ch1_1_1000k@[streamid]

3) User name : your username

4) password : password

Streamid is also in your akmaientrypoint after ep eg : rtmp://p.ep117171.i.akamaientrypoint.net/EntryPoint


VLC playback url will be http://akashape-lh.akamaihd.net/i/ch1_1@117171/master.m3u8

3) User name : your username

4) password : password

Streamid is also in your akmaientrypoint after ep eg : rtmp://p.ep117171.i.akamaientrypoint.net/EntryPoint

So, 117171 is streamid id here, so streamkey would be ch1_1_1000k@117171


VLC playback url will be http://akashape-lh.akamaihd.net/i/ch1_1@117171/master.m3u8
