Aitum Vertical w/ Stream Deck

Hi,
I’m wondering: what exactly is the problem preventing the Stream Deck from communicating with Aitum Vertical?
Is the issue with OBS, the Elgato Stream Deck, or Aitum?
Quite a bit of time has passed, and this problem has persisted for years.
It complicates things significantly for me, even though there really ought to be a simple solution. I constantly have to rely on workarounds, which wastes countless hours, and it also limits the ways I can use the Stream Deck.

Aitum Vertical isn't part of OBS, it's a third party plugin. If you have issues with a third party plugin you should contact its dev (and other users) via the Discussion section on the particular plugins' page or wherever the dev have set for this. This includes contacting Elgato support.
Also, this is the Ideas and Suggestions section of the forum, not support.

Hey! Thanks for the reply and the help. I reached out to Aitum, and this is the response I received.

I’d say the responsibility is primarily on the OBS side here. The OBS Stream Deck plugin itself hasn’t been updated to properly support OBS’s multicanvas system. So this isn’t really a case of the Stream Deck, Elgato, or Aitum simply not communicating with each other, there’s a missing piece in how OBS’s Stream Deck integration handles additional canvases.Unfortunately, since that has remained unresolved even with Exeldro's own fix they provided OBS.Aitum actually updated Stream Suite and Nexus to work together specifically to restore that kind of control, so there is now an alternative for people who need Stream Deck control over their additional canvases.
This is purely on OBS’s side to update there own Stream Deck Plugin to support the canvas system correctly on OBS Studio if they want there users to be able to have access to it through OBS itself.

It’s crazy the amount of effort we streamers have to put in so everything just work with Vertikal Canvas, keybinds, controll settings, linked to scenes, audio configurations, and so on all because absolutely no focus has been placed on this, and that’s been the case for years. There are thousands of streamer who suffers of this problem. If anyone tries to tell me that a lack of funds is the reason this hasn't been fixed yet, let them get in touch with me; I’ll pay the amount needed to update it once and for all. The cost doesn't matter.
