Question / Help Aion Online black screen but audio is fine

Hi, I first want to mention my other similar post here https://obsproject.com/forum/thread...ith-video-recording-issues.57559/#post-254454

Since that post in which my issue was resolved by changing the encoder to NVENC; I got a new PC and reinstalled everything basically the same as my old PC.

I now am getting a black screen trying to stream Aion Online but the audio comes through fine. I do not get the option for an NVENC encoder, just 'hardware (AMD)' and 'Software (x264) [defult]'. I tried the (AMD) hardware encoder but still a black screen.

My New PC Specs:
CPU: AMD FX(tm)-8350 Eight-Core 4 GHz
Ram: 16 GB
Windows 10 Pro 64bit


Oh yeah, forgot to mention. Aion is wierd in that when you view the process in taskmanager it is a .bin file instead of the usual .exe... i didnt know .bin files run like .exe files.

Try running OBS as administrator. Something is preventing OBS from being able to access the games to hook, running OBS as admin may fix that.

its still not working, actually ever since the twitch downloader program installed the c++ 2015 files it has been unstable a lot but i was having these issues before that so idk whats up but its not working with battlerite now. I think i am going to uninstall and do a fresh install and see what happens tomorrow.

man way to hard to reg to help 1 person OK aion windows 10 and specially nvidea do NOT get along............ if you know how to set up the thing imma skip a few setps make sure to set your settings the way you want start aion first then start obs aion should show... but be warned if you shut down stop or do whatever aion will never show again how to fix this u gotta re-install the program i dont know why but its the ONLY fix aion will just vanish out of the menu as a option however if u re-install there it is again and again will work stream or record right up till u stop.. ( this fix or error seems to only be fore windows 10 ppl with nvidea ) however it maybe effecting you so i thought i would share ( i assure you this is not a troll and i can prove it if u want me to post a youtube on my channel) pls contact me via email if you come up with a better way or if u need a walkthough youtbue etnaaflonne im from aion myself so u may know me =3 also this error ONLY effects aion. go figure
